Introduction to Embroidery 2

70.00

During this 3 hour workshop you will be learning the stitches needed to complete this adorable 'Sleepy Owl' design. You will be covering the following traditional techniques: back stitch, chain stitch, stem stitch, buttonhole stitch, satin stitch, applique, couching and applying beads and sequins. Our tutor trained at the Royal School of Needlework and still teaches there.

We will provide you with all the materials that you need, which will include fabrics, stranded cottons, metallic threads, beads, sequins and needles, plus full instructions for you to take home and finish what you have covered in the class.

Suitable for complete beginners and improvers. (Although we’ve called this workshop ‘part 2’ there is no need to have done our other introduction to embroidery workshop before attending this one.)

Refreshments (tea, coffee, homemade cake) are will also be provided.
