WORKSHOPS:

What’s included

All materials stated in the workshop details on our website are included in the workshop fee. If you are required to bring additional materials to the workshop, this requirement will be made clear in the joining instructions sent to you when you book.

Light refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits, cake) are included throughout all workshops, but please note that our one day workshops do not include lunch.

Payment

Full payment is required in advance in order to secure your place.

We accept payment on our website by credit or debit card (excluding American Express), or you can ring us to pay by credit or debit card over the phone. We also accept cheques but we would need to receive them at least 7 days in advance of the workshop date to allow for them to clear.

Cancellation by you

If you need to cancel your place on a workshop unfortunately the following cancellation charges apply:

· Cancellation 28+ days before workshop date: 50% of workshop fee unless we are able to resell the place.

· Cancellation less than 28 days before workshop date: 100% of workshop fee unless we are able to resell the place.

If you do need to cancel you are welcome to send another person in your place instead. This does not incur any fee. Please just advise us of your replacement’s name and contact details as soon as possible.

Please note that “cancellation” includes needing to move your place from one booked workshop to another.

Cancellation by us

In the unlikely event of us needing to cancel a workshop we will give as much notice as possible and will offer you a place on an alternative workshop. If this workshop is not suitable for any reason then your full fees will be refunded. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any other/3rd party costs you may have incurred in relation to the original workshop booking.

GIFT VOUCHERS:

Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. You have 7 days to cancel your purchase unless the voucher is redeemed within this time. Gift vouchers may only be redeemed against workshops and may not be redeemed for cash.

PARTIES/GROUP BOOKINGS:

Payment

Full payment is required in advance in order to secure your party/group booking. We accept payment for group bookings/parties by bank transfer or cheque (made payable to MakeCreateCraft). Please ask for our bank account details if you would like to pay in this way.

Cancellation by you

If you need to cancel your group booking/party unfortunately the following cancellation charges apply:

· Cancellation 28+ days before booking date: 50% of fee.

· Cancellation less than 28 days before booking date: 100% of fee.

WEEKLY CLASSES:

What’s included

You need to bring your own equipment (eg sewing machine etc) to weekly classes, and each class tutor will specify what is needed.

Payment

Full payment for a half term block of classes is required in advance in order to secure your place. You are required to sign up for a block of half a term at a time, and you will then be given first refusal on rebooking your place for the following half term.

We accept payment on our website by credit or debit card (excluding American Express), or you can ring us to pay by credit or debit card over the phone. We also accept cheques but we would need to receive them at least 7 days in advance of the workshop date to allow for them to clear. We also accept bank transfers.

Cancellation by you

If you are unable to attend a particular weekly class for any reason whatsoever (eg for holiday, illness, other commitment), unfortunately no refund can be offered.

Cancellation by us

In the unlikely event of us needing to cancel a class during a half term block of classes, we will give as much notice as possible and will try to reschedule the class. If the class cannot be rescheduled or the rescheduled class is not suitable for you then the full cost of that week’s class will be refunded. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any other/3rd party costs you may have incurred in relation to the original class booking.

Rebooking

I always give rebooking priority for the next half term to the people who are already in the class, before offering spaces to new joiners.

REFUNDS

Any refund issued by MakeCreateCraft will be subject to an administration fee of £10 to cover the costs incurred in making the refund.

COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARKS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All material on this website and all written materials distributed during workshops are owned by or licenced to MakeCreateCraft and may not be copied or reproduced without our written permission.

LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between the Parties relating to these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
